Creative Jolt! They're Alive!

Stop motion always fascinated me! From the animation of the characters and their expressions, right down to the creation of entire new worlds! It was something that I always wished I could learn and I have not given up on that! It's never to late to learn something new! =)

In the meantime, while I can't present you with my own creations, I recommend you to hop on to 's youtube channel and have a cuteness overdose! ^^

Creative Jolt! Nothing Is Impossible

What inspires me and helps me to continue on my adventure.

When you think you can't push any further, when you think nothing new can be done, just remember that:

Subway stations don't need to be cold and grey. (79th Street D station, Brooklyn, New York)

Portraits don't need to be always painted or photographed. (Jo Hamilton's Crochet Portraits)

Statues don't need to be grey and serious. ( Olek Yarn-Bombs Einstein Memorial

Squares don't need to be flat. (Freeform Cloud Square)

And your crochet doesn't need to follow any rules!

So grab your hooks and yarns and crochet what goes on in your mind and heart. The end result will be something you will cherish for the rest of your life =)

Creative Jolt! Smart Creative Women

What inspires me and helps me continue on my adventure.

Monica Lee is the hostess of the web show Smart Creative Women where she interviews women that are creative business owners. She interviews artists, interior designers, fashion designers, clever business bloggers and creative entrepreneurs and from time to time her husband Tom comes on to give some marketing tips!

Monica is a very joyful person and makes us feel like we've known her for a long time. The interviews approach very interesting issues and have the mood of talks between old friends, and that just makes it wonderful to ear them!

So if sometimes I feel like my inspiration as left me or  like I don't know what I'm doing, I pop on over to Smart Creative Women and ear the stories of other women, how they got through rough times and how they transformed their hobby and passion into a successful business!

A weekly pill of inspiration to get your creativity flowing for the week! Every Monday I'll share a video, image or other that helps me get inspired!

Today I want to share a thought with you: Think bold and think big!

That's exactly what I think when I see Toshiko Horiuchi MacAdam's work! Just because we work stitch by stitch and usually in smaller scales than others, that doesn't mean that we can't adventure ourselves in bigger and challenging projects even if sometimes others don't understand us.

The important thing is to do what makes you happy and do it all your might!

Here are some pictures of her crochet playgrounds:

Between you and me, I'd LOVE to go up there! It must be so much fun!!! =D

What about you? What inspires you to think big and bold?

Creative Jolt!

Creative Jolt! is going to be a weekly pill of inspiration to get your creativity flowing for the week! Every Monday I'll share a video, image or other that helps me get inspired!

For the first edition of Creative Jolt! I'm going to share with you a video directed by Danny Gregory and Tommy Kane which shows artist Hayley Morris on her process for one of her animation videos.

I always love to see other artists talking about their process or simply just watching them create! I always feel that my creative battery is once again full. =)
